In the interest of safety it is essential that complete beginners attend lessons before using the slope.
All skiers who are unable to control their speed and change direction must stay within the designated beginner area.
All recreational snowboarders who wish to participate in recreational snowboarding must have the skill to attain Level 2 of the Snowlife Award Scheme. The minimum level is to show the ability to control speed safely and appropriately taking other slope users into account using diagonal sideslip (toe and heel edge). Safe use of the uplift is also required.
